At Grip VPN, your privacy is our top priority. We built our service on the principle that we cannot disclose information about our users, because we do not store that information.
This privacy policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
1. Our “No-Logs” Guarantee
This is the core of our promise to you. Grip VPN keeps no logs of your activity.
To be completely clear:
We DO NOT log your browsing history.
We DO NOT log which websites you visit.
We DO NOT log DNS queries.
In order to provide you a secure connection, your original IP Address is logged.
Because we do not store this data, we cannot link specific network activity to a specific user. Even if we were compelled by authorities to disclose data, we have no activity data to hand over.
2. Information We Actually Collect
To operate the service, we must process a minimal amount of data.
A. Account Data
Email address: Used only to create your account, reset passwords, and send important information about the service.
Payment information: We do not handle your credit card details directly. Payments are processed by secure third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Google Play, Apple App Store). They may save certain information to complete the transaction, but we only see whether the payment was successful.
B. Technical Information (Non-Personal)
App diagnostics (Optional): If the app crashes, anonymized crash reports may be sent to us to help us fix bugs. You can disable this in the settings.
Server load: We monitor total traffic on our servers to optimize performance, but this is aggregated data and cannot be linked to an individual user.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we have (your email and payment status) to:
Provide you with access to our services.
Manage subscriptions and payments.
Provide customer support (if you contact us).
Send relevant information regarding updates or security (you can unsubscribe from newsletters).
4. Security
We use industry-leading security measures to protect Grip VPN:
Encryption: All traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted (e.g., via AES-256 and OpenVPN).
GripVPN app uses Android’s VpnService API to establish an encrypted tunnel between your device and our servers.
Access control: Only authorized personnel have access to the servers that handle account operations, and no one has access to the traffic inside the tunnels.
5. Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The only exceptions are payment providers (to process purchases) or email delivery systems (to send receipts/password resets), and these partners are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located within the EEA (European Economic Area), you have rights under the GDPR, including:
The right to request access to the data we hold about you (which in practice is only your email).
The right to request deletion of your account and your email from our systems (“The Right to be Forgotten”).
The right to correct inaccurate information.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. In the event of material changes, we will notify you via email or through an in-app notification.

På Grip VPN är din integritet vår högsta prioritet. Vi har byggt vår tjänst med principen att vi inte kan lämna ut information om våra användare, eftersom vi inte lagrar den informationen.
Denna integritetspolicy förklarar vilken information vi samlar in, varför vi gör det, och hur vi skyddar den.
1. Vår “No-Logs”-garanti (Inga loggar)
Detta är kärnan i vårt löfte till dig. Grip VPN sparar inga loggar över din aktivitet.
För att vara helt tydlig:
• Vi loggar INTE din webbhistorik.
• Vi loggar INTE vilka webbplatser du besöker.
• Vi loggar INTE DNS-förfrågningar.
För att ge dig en säker anslutning loggas din ursprungliga IP-adress.
Eftersom vi inte lagrar denna data, kan vi inte koppla specifik nätverksaktivitet till en specifik användare. Även om vi skulle tvingas av myndigheter att lämna ut data, har vi ingen aktivitetsdata att lämna ut.
2. Information vi faktiskt samlar in
För att kunna driva tjänsten måste vi behandla en minimal mängd data.
A. Kontodata
• E-postadress: Används endast för att skapa ditt konto, återställa lösenord och skicka viktig information om tjänsten.
• Betalningsinformation: Vi hanterar inte dina kreditkortsuppgifter direkt. Betalningar hanteras av säkra tredjepartsleverantörer (t.ex. Stripe, PayPal, Google Play, Apple App Store). De kan spara viss information för att genomföra transaktionen, men vi ser bara om betalningen lyckades.
B. Teknisk information (Ej personlig)
• App-diagnostik (Valfritt): Om appen kraschar kan anonymiserade felrapporter skickas till oss för att hjälpa oss fixa buggar. Du kan stänga av detta i inställningarna.
• Serverbelastning: Vi övervakar total trafik på våra servrar för att optimera prestanda, men detta är aggregerad data och kan inte kopplas till en enskild användare.
3. Hur vi använder din information
Vi använder den begränsade information vi har (din e-post och betalningsstatus) för att:
• Ge dig tillgång till våra tjänster.
• Hantera prenumerationer och betalningar.
• Ge kundsupport (om du kontaktar oss).
• Skicka relevant information om uppdateringar eller säkerhet (du kan avregistrera dig från nyhetsbrev).
4. Säkerhet
Vi använder branschledande säkerhetsåtgärder för att skydda Grip VPN:
• Kryptering: All trafik mellan din enhet och våra servrar är krypterad (t.ex. via AES-256 och OpenVPN).
• GripVPN-appen använder Androids VpnService-API för att upprätta en krypterad tunnel mellan din enhet och våra servrar.
• Åtkomstkontroll: Endast behörig personal har tillgång till de servrar som hanterar kontodrift, och ingen har tillgång till trafiken inuti tunnlarna.
5. Tredje part
Vi säljer, hyr inte ut och delar inte din personliga information med tredje part. De enda undantagen är betalningsleverantörer (för att genomföra köp) eller system för e-postutskick (för att skicka kvitton/lösenordsåterställning), och dessa partners är bundna av strikta sekretessavtal.
6. Dina rättigheter (GDPR)
Om du befinner dig inom EES (Europeiska ekonomiska samarbetsområdet) har du rättigheter enligt GDPR, inklusive:
• Rätten att begära tillgång till den data vi har om dig (vilket i praktiken bara är din e-post).
• Rätten att begära att vi raderar ditt konto och din e-post från våra system (“Rätten att bli bortglömd”).
• Rätten att rätta felaktig information.
7. Förändringar i denna policy
Vi kan komma att uppdatera denna policy. Vid väsentliga ändringar kommer vi att meddela dig via e-post eller via en notis i appen.
